The Annual Prize Giving 2024

The Annual Prize Giving was held on Friday, 5th April 2024. Dr. Sepali De Silva Wijesinghe (FRCPCH) was the Chief Guest.

Dr. De Silva Wijesinghe is a past pupil of the school, who excelled in the classroom as well as the sports arena. She was appointed the Games Vice Captain and the Games Captain during her time in school. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, and plays a lead role in Paediatric Health in the UK, where she resides and practices medicine.

Sinhala and Tamil New Year 2024

A glimpse of our Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebrations this year. What a lot of fun it was, keeping alive old traditions and making lots of new memories.

Maundy Thursday Communion Service

Today’s service, conducted by our Chaplain, Rev. Wasana Fernando, was a reminder of the incident when Jesus washed His disciples’ feet. He told them (and us), “I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you” (John 13:15). As His followers, we are to emulate Him, serving one another in lowliness of heart and mind, seeking to build one another up in humility and love. True greatness in His kingdom is attained by those with a servant’s heart (Mark 9:35; 10:44), and they will be greatly blessed (John 13:17).

Primary School Easter and Thanksgiving Service

“Alive, alive, alive for evermore,
My Jesus, is alive, alive for ever more!”

The joyous singing of our primary school students filled the church and resounded in Heaven, as they celebrated the resurrection of the Lord Jesus and gave thanks for His endless love for us all.

Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
